Many of you would have noticed the changes being made, and probably have been confused.

Recently i started a multigaming clan for australia/newzealand that plays many games together, not just Supreme commander. We have our dedicated ventrilo server for communications, which we generally hang out in even when we arent playing games.

Australia United is Not being closed down, and will still operate as always, headed by Qai. We have had some transition issues (primarily with a faulty parked domain). I have got this site back up again, but fear not, the forums will be back.

For those of you that are interested, you can join Unknown simply by creating an account at clanunknown.com

Once you have created an account and logged in, you will see the vent status and details on the right. Clicking on connect will automatically launch ventrilo if you have it installed and log into the vent server.

Clan unknown mainly plays Forged Alliance, Demigod, Left 4 Dead, Tf2, bf2, css, hawx, just to name a few. We currently have beta keys for Battlefield Heroes and are getting keys for the Jumpgate evolution beta.

Anyway, dont panic. Australia United isnt going anywhere.

Due to an unknown error at this stage the forums are currently unavailable.

This is being attended to but there is currently no ETA on availability at this stage.

This wave of site problems must surely be at its peak my friends and hopefully we will be operational again soon.

The forums have been updated to the latest version. I have also included a better catcha system, and the ip address are now checked against a known spam blacklist.

This should see a spam free forum.

Back in late March and early April, when we first heard the terrifying tale of two shifty, hapless carrier pigeons intercepted while attempting to smuggle cellphone parts to inmates in a high-security Brazilian prison, we thought it was merely an isolated incident. Well, now that another pigeon has been caught -- this time outside a Columbian prison with a tiny suitcase full of cellphone components strapped to its back -- we have to face the truth: carrier pigeons are probably evil by nature. The Columbian authorities say that the pigeons are likely being raised inside the prison, then sent to the outside to collect the contraband handsets before doing what pigeons do best -- returning home. The officials also admit they are relatively powerless to combat the problem, though the intercepted bird is now imprisoned at a local animal shelter. So... how long until a different carrier pigeon is intercepted trying to sneak a teensy KRZR into the incarcerated, winged criminal?

Not that we needed much more evidence that 2009 would be the year 'o PSP rumors, but Pocket Gamer is now reporting that it has heard from an "insider source" who says that the PSP2 will indeed be released before Christmas of this year. That source, who's supposedly a "developer working on the new hardware," also backs up some of the earlier rumors about the design of the device itself, saying that it will be more like the iPhone than the current PSP, and that it will boast a sliding touchscreen that conceals the buttons and dual analog controls when it's closed. Not much more than that, unfortunately, but who know's what next week's rumor will bring? We're personally hoping for a surprise Atari Lynx rebirth to really shake things up.
