As this is a gaming community, surely there is someone who uses Razer gaming products tongue

Thanks to Razer we have On-The-Fly Sensitivity™ huh

Thanks to Razer we have row after row of 5 star rated comments on their product pages, for products which have not even been released.

Thanks to Razer, actual companies that produce good mouse and keyboard products will have to lower their prices cheesy

So when you prepare your cash to purchase your new Mamba remember to stop by the testimonials to hear about how great their products actually aregrin

Sony VP says UMD 'wasn't brilliant', handheld console future uncertain

March 15, 2009, 06:32:11 AM by QAI

Sony bags their own format stating that "The UMD model wasn't brilliant for third parties". Now while this is certainly not the best format considering it a blunder is also certainly an overstatement. Many people like the plastic coated mini disks for their games which prevent damage. Cant say the same for movies and music but people who do purchase these in the latter were always a minority.

The surfacing comments from Sony certainly bring forth some serious thoughts about the future. A company would never bag and negatively speak about their own product unless there was something that wasn't being shared.

It is certainly safe to say that "The downloads side of it will increasingly become a bigger part of its future" - and the ill fated disk will be crushed into oblivion.

Downloadable games are still a niche at the moment but it looks like we will soon have no choice but to discard our plastics or promote them to coasterware.

PSP2 details surfacing once more, will ditch the UMD drive

March 08, 2009, 10:32:47 AM by QAI

The PSP2 rumor mill has certainly been cranking overtime as of late, and it doesn't seem to be showing any signs of slowing down, even if it isn't exactly churning out many new rumors. This time, however, they're apparently be backed up by a developer source "close to Sony," who again says that the PSP2 (or PSP-4000, as it's also being called) will ditch the UMD drive and add a sliding screen that covers most of the controls when it's closed. According to the source, that would still let folks play games like LocoRoco that only use the shoulder buttons when it's closed, and Sony is reportedly keen to get developers to create more games that can be played in that state. No word on a release date from the latest source, unfortunately, although Eurogamer seems to be sticking to its earlier report that it'll launch by the end of the year.

So as far as QAi can tell, this is just another incremental update of crazy proportions.

Jet-mounted, anti-missile laser defence system, one step closer

February 28, 2009, 10:25:08 AM by QAI

Airborne anti-missile defence systems are now a very real reality. However considering the costs and the lack of missiles actually being fired at American forces, this defence weapon simply looks like another preparation against unstable 'hostile' countries such as North Korea.
